JOB SCOPE:
Support senior members in day-to-day servicing of clients in specific niche classes of insurance, such as jeweller's block insurance, as well as attending to all general insurances classes assigned
Prepare renewal invitation documents and complete the entire renewal process as well as the placement and filing of new businesses accordingly
Assist with onboarding new customers as guided by senior members
Liaise with underwriters and clients as guided by senior team members on any business-related issues and find appropriate solutions
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all dealings with clients and insurers
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support senior members of the team in managing and developing a portfolio of client accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions
Prepare, present and execute insurance proposals, quotations, renewals and placement instructions from clients and senior members conscientiously and on a timely basis
Collaborate with underwriters and other internal teams to deliver the best solutions for clients
Conduct regular reviews with the team of client accounts to ensure optimal coverage and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling
Foster a cohesive and collaborative team culture within the division and across the department and company

Experience in corporate insurance within an insurance or broking firm, or in a similar capacity is advantageous
Diploma or degree holder in any discipline. Professional insurance qualifications and certifications will be an advantage. Applicants with relevant working experience may also apply
Good learning and working attitude, and conscientious in assigned tasks is a prerequisite
A good understanding and knowledge of local statutory insurance requirements is advantageous
