Job Description

Plan, develop, analyze, implement and maintain databases and software for our financial trading systems (20%). Utilize knowledge and understanding of data structures, data analysis and machine learning, in order to design, program, test, troubleshoot, and modify our databases and software systems used for our financial trading platforms (10%). Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems and data analysis (25%). Coordinate changes to our trading platforms and databases utilizing computer languages such as Python (5%). Develop distributed, scalable data storage and distribution systems to support trade reporting and integrating trading data (10%). Utilize Python to create software-based batch processes to incorporate trading information from new markets and asset classes into back-office accounting and front-office trading systems, and to analyze discrepancies and reconcile internal data with external broker data (30%).

Job Requirements

Minimum 4 years experience in debugging operating systems, analyzing data and troubleshooting system software problems Minimum 4 years experience in software development, program design, computer theory, data structure, Python programming, object-oriented programming, and software engineering. Minimum 4 years experience performing statistical analysis, machine learning, data visualization, data analysis, and time series analysis. Minimum 4 years experience using the following machine learning techniques: linear/logistic regression. * Minimum 4 years experience with the following programming languages: Python, SQL, and Linux/Unix.
