Description
This is an ambitious market leading metals trading multinational with a significant customer footprint across Asia Pacific. It is part of a greater integrated group, with robust asset and capital base. Due to internal mobility, a rare opportunity for a Middle Office Manager leading a team of analysts is now available.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Risk, the Middle Office Manager will drive activities relating to risk exposure monitoring, as well as lead a team which will performance extensive daily P&L calculations and analysis for the trading division. The team will also provide business analysis and commentaries on the P&L drivers, partake in active discussions with front office and risk around trading strategy, trading positions and key value drivers. The Middle Office Manager will also be the key controls interface with the traders and related functions including execution, risk, and operations.

Requirements
The successful candidate must possess a degree in a finance discipline, with a range of 10-15 years\' work experience, with the recent years in a team management capacity with a physical commodity trading company. Qualifications including CA/ ACCA will be viewed upon favourably. Due to the need to manage, it is pertinent that you have track record of managing and guiding teams. You will also have a good knowledge and understanding of the trading markets and instruments. You should also possess a good understanding of key controls used to mitigate trading risks, as well as strong analytical skills to grasp and communicate the complex transactions.
