Middle School Permanent Substitute Teacher

Job Description
Overview
- The permanent substitute teacher shall provide support for teachers who will need to be released to work on the campus upgrade or other projects or in some cases to cover other faculty absences. Selected candidates will be assigned to a set of teams to support the instructional needs of the respective divisions.
- This is a full-time substitute role that will be on campus during all school workdays and shall be willing to commit to a one year contract.
- While most time will be spent substituting in classrooms, permanent substitutes are expected to be adaptable and willing to assist with other assignments or responsibilities, as needed.
Qualifications
- A four-year college degree and/or master’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Teaching credential and professional teaching experience in a western educational environment (Preschool through Grade 12)
- Strong technology skills (experience with platforms similar to Veracross and the Google suite of apps).
- A contagious positive attitude about students and school.
- Ability to help students feel connected and successful at SAS.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, positive, energetic, and creative
