Your Team We are the Integration domain team helping financial institutions to easily adopt and use our Avaloq products within a wide ecosystem. We believe our colleagues comes first, thinking different is an asset and innovation comes by putting customer experience first in our design thinking. We are looking for a seasoned Test Automation Engineer contributing to the evolution of our API offering. Your mission

• Specialize in creating automated test scripts for microservice-based REST APIs
• Own the creation and execution of test cases based on both functional and non-functional requirements
• Execute manual test scenarios as necessary and identify further what can be automated in the future
• Participate in Continuous Testing (CT) initiatives of the organization

Qualifications
What you need

• At least 3 years of experience in automation testing
• Experience with back-end / API test automation (Java or JavaScript frameworks i.e. RestAssured or JEST, Postman, SoapUI)
• Working knowledge on any programming language (preferably Java, JavaScript, Typescript)

You will get extra points for the following:

• Performance testing
• Monitoring tools
• CI pipelines i.e. experience with Jenkins
• Testing products deployed in cloud
• Testing processes i.e. test pyramid, tooling for test cases i.e. Zephyr / HP Quality Center, test management, manual testing / exploratory testing
• Financial Industry experience
