Job summary
Come join a team dedicated to cloud transformation and lead the Experience-Based-Acceleration (EBA) function across APJ. EBA is a repeatable methodology to drive customer transformation and accelerate business benefits of adoption of AWS. EBA provides a high touch interactive experience to change ways of working, break down silos, and remove blockers to accelerate and scale cloud adoption where traditional methodologies fall short.
EBA is integrated in AWS' largest and most successful migration program, creating a need to rapidly scale EBA capabilities. The APJ EBA Lead is the functional lead and responsible for defining and evolving the strategy, identifying new use cases to meet customer needs, and driving scale in execution across multiple AWS roles. Success in this role is primarily measured through: 1) adoption and scale across functions, and 2) quality of customer outcomes.
The APJ EBA Lead will have cross-AWS responsibilities and visibility, driving alignment across functions including: Professional Services teams, Migration Solution Architects, Customer Success Managers, Partner Development teams, and will impact AWS customers across segments (Enterprise, ISV, SMB, and Digital Native Business.) and at any maturity level of their Cloud journey.
Leading by example, the candidate will coach Customers CxO levels and provide clear direction to all levels of engineering and business stakeholders, leveraging strong verbal and written skills. They anticipate the gaps between teams and processes to identify common roadblocks that prevent the organization from consistently accelerating. The ideal APJ EBA Lead candidate is comfortable with highly diverse roles and cultures, and brings experience from leading similar migration and modernization initiatives as evidenced by their rare combination of skills: strong customer executive engagement, emotional ability to drive cultural change, sprint-based agile delivery, inter-personal awareness and genuine interest to help others be successful, relentless connection with cross-functional stakeholders within AWS, building supporting community and processes, and managing through influence and gravitas.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to operate at CxO level and across technical, operational, and business stakeholders to challenge existing processes and position new ways of working
• Strong project management and influence skills, ability to negotiate and communicate across all levels of the organization
• Ability to lead customer in-person and virtual workshops across C-level and various cloud migration stakeholder teams, resolving blockers, and driving momentum
• Operate across multiple internal stakeholders, gain support and alignment though managing through influence, establishing shares goals, and mechanisms
• Lead and coach Agile delivery mechanisms
• Apply expertise in strategic discussions, keeping all stakeholders productively engaged
• Prepare and present detailed, written technical and business information for internal and external audiences
• Negotiate and coordinate with cross-functional organizations
• Demonstrate high judgment, integrity, business acumen, and communication skills

• Experience leading cross-functional programs
• Experience in an Agile software development organization
• Experience with Enterprise systems (Security, Distributed Systems, Cloud, etc.)
• MS or PHD (Engineering or Computer Science)
• Working knowledge and proven track record of success with analytical problem-solving methodologies and programs
• Strong project management and influence skills, ability to negotiate and communicate across all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to make courageous recommendations and decisions to drive significant organizational change
• Excellent presentation skills, dynamic approach with the ability to translate theory into practical application
