Role Responsibilities

  • The purpose of the Senior Manager, ESG Supply Chain Management is to drive the Environmental, Social & Governance Agenda for Supply Chain Management.
  • The Key responsibilities of this role are to deliver the ESG/Sustainability goals for the function including including Carbon reduction and climate change across our supply chain, SCM Human Rights commitments including Modern Slavery, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Programme etc.
Responsibilities
  • Supports delivery of awareness programs on ESG
  • Influences and support SCB Businesses and Functions to deliver our goals
  • Engages and actively participates with non government organisations that can support driving our Agenda
  • Responsible for the delivery of ESG/Sustainability Metrics
  • Tracks and reports progress on key yearly objectives and market initiatives
  • Support the completion of Annual Transparency reports and other Sustainability Surveys
  • Develops and supports coordination of supplier outreach initiatives globally
  • Develops the Discover content pathways for SCB employees
  • Work closely and consults with SCM MT to on embedding Sustainability Practices into the vendor creation, vendor management and sourcing execution .
  • Manages and maintains the Sustainability Bridge site and works with the broader bank wide sustainability colleagues to ensure alignment of content across all sustainability initiatives including but not limited to modern slavery and climate change.
  • Partner with the Communication Teams to improve the internal and external perception of SCM (not limited to sustainability, but with a clear focus on uplifting/positive topics such as sustainability).
Process
  • This role will be responsible for driving the Sustainability Training Agenda across Supply Chain Management. Embedding Sustainability aspects across the existing Source to Pay process is key. With regards to training, the role will ensure that the Learning Pathways are updated in Discover as a first stage of certification to our SCM staff.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 2+ Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in implementing Sustainability Programmes across multiple markets
  • Supply chain process management and/ or understanding is required
  • Sound knowledge of diversity and inclusion practices is required
  • Ability to understand and present data to senior stakeholders
  • Superior communication, facilitation, and consensus-building skills
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills, with a superior ability to make things happen using positive influence
  • Organisational awareness with an understanding of how to engage the organisation to get things done
