Roles & Responsibility
[ Overview ]

• Mobile Robots consist of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR)
• Maintain and improve ACS, Traffic Control System and, Job Scheduling System of Mobile Robots

[ Key Responsibilities ] * Operation and verification of various mobile robot automation software based on Robot Operating System (ROS)

• Operation and verification of control systems related to robot operations
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend for improving the robot control and automation software
• Verification and setup of sensors, peripherals, and communication technologies used in robot platforms
• Liaise with suppliers to understand respective mobile robot platforms for manufacturing operations
• Brainstorm potential improvements for mobile robots from software perspective

[ Improvement plan of mobile robots ] * Improve UI of robot management software (i.e., ACS) and communication protocols between Mobile Robots

• Error code analysis and operational logic supplementation
• Working with new technology development departments to upgrade operating robots

[ New Vehicle Model Production Preparation ] * Modification, testing, and verification of mobile robot operation when production and operating conditions are changed for new vehicle models

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience (including research experience)
• Understanding ROS-based software and embedded systems
• Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Basic understanding of C/C++, C#, Python, Java programming languages, etc
• Experience with Simultaneous Mapping & Localization (SLAM)
• Experience with traffic control for multiple mobile robots
• Familiar with Windows, UNIX operating system and scripting
• Open-minded individual who seeks mutual growth with the company
• Innovative thinking to build flexible manufacturing system to increase profitability
• Self-motivated and proactive personality
• Reliable individual who can work with integrity and good interpersonal relationship
