What the role is:
Applications for the Ministry of Finance (MOF) Winter Internship Programme are now open. As an MOF intern, you will gain valuable insights and contribute to projects that support national policy-making and shape the everyday lives of Singaporeans. Interns are required to commit at least 4-5 weeks between 8 Dec 2025 - 11 Jan 2026. MOF's Finance, Systems & Projects Directorate is looking for undergraduates to undertake the following project(s). Note: You are welcome to apply for internships/projects with different MOF Directorates if the topics suit your interest and experience. If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to indicate your preferred project(s) prior to the selection interview. Applications close 31 Aug. What you will be working on:
Project #1: MOF Heritage Storyteller & Digital Archivist Be part of MOF's Knowledge Management (KM) team as our Heritage Content Intern to develop compelling content that documents MOF's policy evolution and nation-building contributions. You will be guided through our MOF's internal archives to research and author Heritage articles that showcase MOF's pivotal role in nation-building - from key policy milestones to decision-making processes, that shaped Singapore's development. Your work will be published on the MOF intranet as essential resources for MOF officers across directorates, strengthening institutional knowledge and inspiring future policy makers. Through this internship, you will gain - Insights into Singapore's policy development and MOF's role in policy development and economic strategy - Hands-on experience in institutional communications and research methodology. - Professional writing and visual communication portfolio development - Skills in stakeholder engagement and knowledge management
What we are looking for:
1. Have interest in how public policies shaped our nation, from economic strategies, to social programs, with enthusiasm to discover fascinating stories behind MOF's role in Singapore's transformation. 2. Have interest and/or experience in creating engaging web article content and developing visual communication materials (e.g. posters, infographics, EDMs). 3. Confident written and verbal English communication skills, with ability to make complex policy topics interesting and accessible to diverse audiences. 4. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, essential for historical research and fact-checking. 5. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
