Job Description

An exciting opportunity has opened up with an international banking group which began operations in Asia almost 70 years ago. They are now looking for a money market dealer to manage the bank's short-term funding.

Reporting to the Director of short-term funding your responsibilities will include;

• The delivery of stable cost-effective and diversified funding through deepening client relationships and broadening banking relationships as well as developing new sourcing channels through pricing and efficient application of the bank's money market products.
• Managing cash flow, liquidity and interest rate risk for the Bank and ensuring all key risk indicators are in compliance with internal limits and regulatory requirements
• Providing competitive pricing and up-to-date market information to other business units in line with the objectives of the bank
• Provide input into the bank's liquidity strategy to generate the most cost-effective liquidity on a daily basis
• Implement the bank's overall risk appetite and risk culture into your daily work.
• Sponsor a high-performance environment at all times, ensuring the adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls meeting the obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related disciplines
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Bloomberg, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated working experience in Money Markets and Treasury with sound knowledge of banking and trading product
• Self-motivated with strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Able to build trusting relationships both internally and externally.
