Responsibilities * Create assembly plan, sub assembly Plan, piece table, cutting plan, Profile Sketch and welding map of blocks. * Issue blocks in a timely manner to meet the planned schedule. Improve and maintain quality in the production drawings. Minimize the material wastage during cutting plan preparation Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging fabrication engineering practices participating in educational opportunities and professional organisations and reading professional publications Identify, trouble-shoot recurring problems and perform root cause analysis study on structure fabrication and installation defects in order to take effective corrective and preventive measures Requirements Diploma in Mechanical/ Marine and offshore/ or related engineering disciplines Understanding in interpreting engineering / technical drawings and specifications Experience in computer aided drafting software Working hours & Location Sembcorp Marine Ltd - Tuas Boulevard Yard 80 Tuas South Boulevard, Singapore 637051 (Islandwide transport provided) Mon-Thu: 7.30am - 5.15pm Fri: 7.30am - 4.15pm Sembcorp Marine Ltd - Admiralty Yard 60 Admiralty Road West, Singapore 759947 (Transport provided from Sembawang MRT) Mon-Fri: 8am - 5:30pm Interested candidates are invited to send us an updated resume with your current and expected salary and earliest availability by clicking APPLY NOW'.
