Responsibilities

The Managed Pressure Drilling Workshop & Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing of all MPD related activities performed at the MPD workshop. Duties will include managing all aspects of the workshop to meet legislative company and customer requirements. Work safely and cost effectively, manage & control head count & capacity planning, purchasing, assets, inventory, and logistics. Ensuring repair and maintenance tasks are achieved to meet Geozone operational requirements.

  • Demonstrate safety leadership in all activities and sustain a demonstrated commitment QHSE & R&M practice.
  • Ensures efficient resources are planned and executed such as head count & equipment which is aligned to support current & future operational business needs.
  • Organizes and coordinates all activities associated with maintaining Managed pressure Drilling equipment at Weatherford facility Singapore.
  • Responsible for ensuring the duties carried out within an R&M facility are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
  • Drives improved performance at a facility level in line with Weatherford OEPS quality standards
  • Assists in the development of all workshop personnel (technical and support) to include mentoring, training, competencies and succession planning. Coaches, counsels, and administers disciplinary actions when appropriate.
  • Manages & reports maintenance costs as well as complete forecasting to support maintenance activities.
  • Ensure team compliance with WFT training/competency program and identify any shortfalls on other industry related.
  • Ensures communication with countries operations managers and Inventory planner on capability status.
  • Works with Asset & Inventory Coordinator and Inventory planner to ensure the correct status of all assets and ensures timely control and movement of all shipments relating to the product line.
  • Monitors cost trends for facility running costs & ensures accuracy of maintenance costs are captured against appropriate maintenance work orders and forwarded to controller for P&L review.
  • Participate in employee evaluations including goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Established clear and effective communication within the facility through local SQDC boards, facility meetings & daily toolbox meetings for all personnel.
  • Ensures an effective preventative maintenance program is established for all facility support equipment (e.g. OH cranes, BOM\xe2\x80\x99s, calibration equipment, rack inspections, facility repairs, etc.)
  • Responsible for internal audits and accident investigation and will support all external customer audits.
  • Ensure accurate shipping the MPD equipment as per the Master Equipment List (MEL)
  • Will actively participate in monthly and quarterly reviews to KPI data, review of high impact R&M incidents and other key metrics assigned by the organization.
  • Ensure workshop housekeeping and layout remains effective in line with R&M requirements and best practices i.e. 5S.
  • Ensure completion and compliance with all maintenance documentation requirements.
  • Ensure that CPAR\xe2\x80\x99s are accurately completed and communicated in a timely manner.
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
Qualifications
  • Min Diploma/ Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of Technical training and industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years of MPD operations management with proven track record of managing P&L.
  • Technical working knowledge/experience within Managed Pressure Drilling Equipment Repair & Maintenance.
  • Knowledgeable in the concept and integration of predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Experience in leadership training, personnel development, diversity and HR related training.
  • Must possess good communication skills, time management skills, planning and organizational skills. Ability to make effective presentations is required.
  • Advanced computer skills, including office platforms.
Preferred:
  • Exposure to and understanding of database software such as JD Edwards.
  • Experience operating within a Quality & HSE related Management System compliant to industry standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, API Q2) are desired.
  • Experience as a Lead Technician is not essential but highly desired.
