The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes: Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best in class engine turnaround times.

Project Planning, Execution, and Process Optimisation
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of MRO projects, ensuring all phases comply with industry regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) and adheres to the project scope, schedule, milestones, escalation and cost with success measurements
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, implementing lean practices, enhancing maintenance workflows, and driving process optimization to increase facility throughput and reduce downtime for engines under repair
Identify and evaluate industry technologies, solutions, and innovations that align with the organization's strategic goals and business requirements
Support and drive long-term sustainment plans to ensure initiatives continue to generate value over time
Stakeholder and Team Management
Work through the QSSRL Functions on requirement gathering, data collection & solutioning and act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, including internal teams, ensuring alignment and proactive issue resolution
Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, operations, QSSRL and other departments to ensure seamless execution of projects
Work with whole function, Senior Leadership Team and Business Vertical's management to implement performance standards and propose solutioning on trends identified to mitigate risks
Mentor and provide directions to the Project/Programmes team members to achieve project objectives efficiently
Lean Operating System (OS)
Identify and address deviations from established standards, and work with Business Vertical stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
Optimise the standards within the Operating System, including workflow design, automation, process adjustments to improve operational efficiency and reduce lead times for engine overhauls and repairs
?ssist in the implementation and maturity of Operating System standard across the company including monitoring, identifying gaps, and implementing improvements which are context sensitive
Reporting and Communication
Coordinate roll up of improvement projects and Kaizen events to transform the Business Vertical
Prepare and present reports to Leadership Team on key performance of standards, including highlighting and identifying trends/common causes to get back to standards or improving standards
Collaborate with QSSRL business functions stakeholders for monitoring and adherence to SQCDP indicators for reporting, and to ensure that actions are meeting the intent and at the required pace
Qualification/Experience
Bachelor's degree holder in any field with engineering preferred
Min. 5 years working experience in Quality, Safety, Sustainability, Risk and Lean or related field
Certification in Quality, Safety, Sustainability, Risk and Lean Management Systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms)
Experience in Microsoft Power Platforms (e.g. PowerBI, PowerAutomate) is preferred
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and pivot as necessary based on changing business needs
Strong understanding and application of lean operating system with a focus on solutioning and maturing of framework
Strong sense of accountability, with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliver measurable results that align with business objectives
Good stakeholder management and facilitation skills to drive programmes to encourage buy-in and participation in continuous improvement initiatives/programmes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
