The Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, this includes: Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB; SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants. The Engine Overhaul business has the capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year and it is equipped with a state-of-the-art Engine Test Facility that supports our best in class engine turnaround times.

About this role
This traineeship is an opportunity for aspiring individuals who are keen to join aviation industry but do not meet the pre-requisites as a trained aircraft engine technician. Upon successful completion of the program, a career as a qualified aircraft engine technician awaits you.
Receive-in boxes of new parts and check for any transportation damage
Retrieve new parts from boxes and ensure all appropriate documents received with parts
Assist store inspector to carry out receive-in-check and goods receipt on new parts
Ensure parts are picked according to schedule and sent to Material Kitting on time
Ensure all Gate 3 urgent parts are picked on time
Receiving of unserviceable parts from Production/Sentencing into scrap store or quarantine store
Assisting Log Executive in preparing quarantine / HOOS parts for shipment
Assisting in monthly Finance stock take
Generate scrap report daily for MRB review and box-up scrap parts for weekly collection by approved scrap vendor
Daily FOD walk is done, and proactive report is updated
Any other duties as assigned by the Head or Manager
Receiving of incoming new parts shipmenT
Unbox and carry out RIC
GR parts, SAP transaction
Assist in monthly finance stock take
