Job Summary:
The MS Dynamics AX/365 Functional Consultant is responsible for the design, implementation, and customization of Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 solutions. This role involves understanding business processes, identifying system requirements, and configuring the Dynamics AX/365 modules to meet the specific needs of clients. The Functional Consultant works closely with stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and optimization of the Dynamics AX/365 system, driving efficiency and enabling business growth.
Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics AX/365.
• Proven experience in functional consulting roles, particularly in modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 modules and their application in business processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective Dynamics AX/365 solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Experience in data migration, system integration, and customization within Dynamics AX/365.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient english communication
• Chinese or Japanese speaking is preferred

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Additional certifications in specific Dynamics AX/365 modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain Management) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Consultation and Requirement Analysis

• Engage with clients to understand their business processes and identify their needs.
• Conduct detailed requirement analysis to identify gaps in the current system and recommend Dynamics AX/365 solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Dynamics AX/365 modules.

2. Solution Design and Configuration

• Design and configure Dynamics AX/365 modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) to align with client requirements.
• Develop and implement customizations and configurations within Dynamics AX/365 to optimize business processes.
• Ensure that solutions adhere to best practices and meet client expectations.

3. Implementation and Deployment

• Lead or support the deployment of Dynamics AX/365, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
• Manage the data migration process, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the implementation phase to minimize disruption to business operations.

4. User Training and Support

• Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they can effectively use Dynamics AX/365.
• Develop user manuals, training materials, and guides to facilitate user adoption.
• Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues or enhancements needed post-implementation.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance

• Create and execute test plans to ensure Dynamics AX/365 modules function as expected.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system performance.
• Identify and resolve any defects or inconsistencies in the system.

6. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with technical teams, including developers and system integrators, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and next steps.

7. Continuous Improvement

• Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Dynamics AX/365.
• Proactively suggest improvements and optimizations to enhance client solutions.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members and clients
