Multimedia EducatorContract duration: 1 Sep 2022 to 31 Dec 2022Working location: Clementi Ave 1Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays - 8.00am to 5.00pmJob scope: Duties/responsibilities include but not restricted to the following: A. Multimedia production, ICT and PA support1. To oversee the school's multimedia production to support school events, committee programmes and external publicity. Media can be in the form of videos, photos or posters.2. To maintain the school's photo and video gallery.3. To assist in school functions when appropriate, such as the school's level camps, Speech Day, etc.4. To manage the non-SSOE ICT assets in the school, including its maintenance and loan management.5. As part of the ICT Team, to manage PA assets and provide PA support for school activities and events.B. Conduct ICT Training for Staff and Students1. To provide relevant ICT training to teachers and students:

• to plan, coordinate and conduct ICT enrichment classes on Photoshop, Premiere Pro, iMovie, Google Suite, Micro: bits, App Design etc.
• to assist in the training and mentoring of students for multimedia production, editing and other ICT related competitions such as OSOS, NEmation, National Software Competitions etc.
• to conduct suitable staff training on the use of G Suite for Education and selected Google Workspace Marketplace Apps.2. To assist teachers in multimedia production, photography and videography.C. Support Teachers in the use of MOE's Singapore Student Learning Space and Management of the School Website1. To manage and maintain the school website and school social media platforms.2. To provide administrative and technology support in the school's G Suite for Education:
• Creation, modification and deletion of user accounts in G Suite for Education.
• Provision of technical support during the Home-Based Learning.Qualifications, skills and experience: The Personnel should be passionate about storytelling through videos and photos.In addition, the Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience: 1. Is able to speak and type Chinese, in order to conduct interviews in Mandarin and add Chinese captions2. Diploma in Art/Design/Multimedia/Visual Communication/Film and Television or other relevant area.3. Personnel without a relevant diploma but have a portfolio or showreel showcasing their work may apply.4. Fresh graduates without prior working experience may apply. Minimum of 1 year(s) of work experience in a related field is preferred. Candidates with prior work experience in MOE schools have an added advantage.5. Enjoy creating videos, taking photographs, designing posters, from concept to completion. Must be competent in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and related Adobe Suite Products.6. Knowledge of video production processes, photography techniques and graphic design fundamentals are essential.7. Familiarity with the following areas or Apps is preferred: a. Micro: bit (Javascript or Python) programmingb. Web Designc. App Designd. Apple Apps such as iMoviee. Livestreaming and Broadcastf. PA/AV Systems such as projectors and sound mixers8. Good interpersonal, communication, planning and analytical skills.9. Ability to multitask, and work independently and as a team.10. Candidate should submit a portfolio or showreel of their work. This should showcase skills and prior experience in multimedia production, graphic design, and photography, allowing us to visualize their past work through examples.Salary: $2,000 to $2,600/month (depending on qualifications & experience)
