As Asia\'s leading media organisation, our mission is to be the trusted source of news on Singapore and Asia, to represent the communities that make up Singapore, and to connect them to the world.Thrive is the young audience initiative of The Business Times (BT), South-east Asia\xe2\x80\x99s leading business publication based in Singapore, the region\xe2\x80\x99s financial hub.As a multimedia journalist intern in the young audience team, you will join the front-lines of BT\xe2\x80\x99s initiatives to reach Gen Zs and young millennials. Reporting to the Young Audience Editor, you will help to create multimedia content that matters to young Singaporeans on work, life and money on social media.Key responsibilities:\xe2\x97\x8f Produce multimedia content, including short videos and social media posts, under BT\xe2\x80\x99s young audience initiative (these include hosting street interviews, skits and more)\xe2\x97\x8f Design and create social media posts that will elevate Thrive\xe2\x80\x99s branding\xe2\x97\x8f Pitch creative and fresh content ideas, in tune with Gen Z\xe2\x80\x99s trends, concerns and interests, at editorial meetings\xe2\x97\x8f Stay up to date with the latest financial news and things that matter to young audiencesRequirements:\xe2\x97\x8f Understand the concept of digital storytelling that will resonate with Gen Zs\xe2\x97\x8f Familiar with the production of short videos and the use of Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop\xe2\x97\x8f Proficient in Canva and Illustrator for social media graphic design\xe2\x97\x8f Familiar with tone and voice of different social media platforms e.g. Instagram and TikTok\xe2\x97\x8f Interest in economics, business and personal finance topics a plus\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to follow strict deadlines and fact-check informationApplication InstructionsPlease apply for this position by submitting your text CV using InternSG.
