School of Biological Sciences
Nanyang Assistant Professor
As a research-intensive public university, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, is ranked amongst the world's top universities as well as the world's best young universities. The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS) at NTU, is actively seeking outstanding candidates to apply for tenure-track Nanyang Assistant Professorship (NAP) positions.
SBS covers a broad range of biological research areas, including but not limited to cancer and cell biology, microbiology and immunology, genetics and genomics, proteins and proteomics, structural biology, biochemistry and chemical biology, plant biology, as well as biomedical data science.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

• Establish and lead an independent, innovative research program.
• Contribute to cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary collaborations.
• Teach and mentor students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Qualifications and requirements

• Hold a PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g., biological sciences, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, or related disciplines).
• Have a strong academic track record, including high-quality publications in top-tier journals.
• Demonstrate strong potential to lead independent and innovative research in biological sciences.
• Exhibit a clear research vision aligned with cutting-edge advancements in the field.
• Experience in interdisciplinary research and collaboration is advantageous.

• The candidate will be offered an attractive compensation package and will be supported by a generous start-up funds and laboratory space.
