Job Description

• Collaborate with the network infrastructure team to review, test, and implement network solutions for the systems.
• Set up and conduct testing of network equipment in a production environment.
• Design, configure, and evaluate network setups alongside contractors.
• Perform disaster recovery (DR) testing on the system and network when required.
• Manage and configure firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Develop and implement VLAN segregation for voice and data, ensuring integration with backend systems.
• Configure and maintain network monitoring tools to track system performance and generate alerts for any failures.
• Establish connectivity between front-end devices and backend systems, including payment platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues during deployment and daily operations.
• Implement security measures for network infrastructure based on security protocols.
• Address and resolve network-related incidents within agreed service timelines (SLA).
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for network architecture design.
• Maintain updated records of IP addresses for both production and testing environments.

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in network and system administration.
• Certifications such as CCNA and/or CCNP are advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about system and network management, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and user access control.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, topologies, and hardware such as WLAN, switches, routers, servers, IPS/IDS, and firewalls.
• Experience in network monitoring, ensuring system reliability, reviewing logs, and managing scheduled tasks like backups.
• Ability to administer security tools, including firewalls, threat detection systems (TDA), and network access control (NAC).
• Familiarity with network device security hardening and performance optimization.
• Capable of working under minimal supervision and managing tight deadlines effectively.
