Provide support in identifying and handling of network incidents.
Provide management, monitoring and support for network infrastructure
Identify issues according to SOPs and previous incidents, escalating identified issues for resolution
Provide first-level troubleshooting and support on network and system issues using monitoring tools and CLI commands
Use basic switches CLI command to find out the configuration and switches' issues
Input correct command for basic network devices operation
Follow up proactively with internal or external parties for issue resolution progress
Summarise and report on monitored systems for service improvement
Co-ordinated with different regional teams and ISPs to resolve network issues to ensure limited downtime of the company's network.
Send incident reports which includes a detailed timeline, root cause and service improvement plan for every network incident that will can be used for case study to prevent recurrence of said incidents.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Telecommunication or Computer Science
Experience in Network operations/maintenance and passionate about providing troubleshooting support
Knowledge in Network Operations, Ethernet network, IT service management, and Linux/Windows systems.
Basic network knowledge of Network protocols including (OSPF, BGP, etc)
Competent in technical report writing and documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to interact with all levels of stakeholders professionally.
