Be Better, Join the Fastest ViewQwest is looking to expand the network operation team to support our growing business. The operation team ensures that our clients\xe2\x80\x99 (both corporate and consumer businesses) requests are met in a timely and professional manner. This role oversees the complex network components and will be responsible in network management. An important function of this role is the Service Management such that the candidate would be required to monitor the system, recognize alerts, diagnose issues, track, send out notifications, and be able to do troubleshooting when the system malfunctions. This role will also have the opportunity to work with various internal teams and vendors. Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide Service Management to supervise the network infra and continuously monitor alerts
• Troubleshoot IP services and networks, and ensure that all escalation tickets are resolved timely to meet performance Service Level Agreement (SLA) on Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
• Responsible for attending escalations from internal parties such as tech support and NOC teams
• Follow up proactively with internal and external parties for issue resolution progress
• Engage vendor support and join-in con-calls to ensure the service restored within limited downtime
• Review and validate change activities (change management) and verify the network infrastructure status before & after maintenance activities
• Summarize and report on monitored systems for service improvement
• Document the resolution of incidents and problems

Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or any related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field preferred
• Experience in network operations/maintenance and passionate about providing troubleshooting support
• Knowledge on Internet Technologies (i.e. routing, switching and general network infrastructure), and technologies associated with the ISP market
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and has a flair for dealing with technical and operational problems
• Prior experience from an ISP environment will be an advantage
• Professional certification like CCNP will be an advantage
