About the Role

M2 Talents is hiring a

Contract Network Engineer

on behalf of our esteemed client to support key IT infrastructure projects and ensure the smooth operation of critical network services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, be solutions-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, configure, and maintain enterprise network systems, including switches, routers, and firewalls. Monitor and optimize network performance and availability. Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of network issues to ensure minimal downtime. Assist in the planning and execution of network migrations and upgrades. Support the implementation of network security measures and compliance protocols. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and vendors to resolve incidents and deploy enhancements. Maintain network documentation, including diagrams and SOPs.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field. 2+ years of relevant experience in network operations or infrastructure roles. Strong working knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP). Experience with Cisco/Fortinet devices, VPNs, and firewall configurations. Familiar with tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, or other network monitoring platforms. Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP are advantageous. Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timelines.
