Job Description
We are looking for a skilled
Network Engineer
with a solid understanding of network technologies to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing network infrastructure, focusing on L2-level support, incident management, and ensuring the network operates efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with network devices, troubleshooting techniques, and a strong focus on day-to-day network operations.#
Key Responsibilities:
Network Setup & Configuration:
Assist in the configuration and installation of LAN, WAN, and wireless network systems.L2 Support & Troubleshooting:
Handle L2-level network issues, providing resolution for connectivity, hardware, and performance-related problems.Network Monitoring:
Monitor network performance and identify potential issues or bottlenecks, escalating more complex issues when necessary.Device Configuration & Maintenance:
Maintain and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.Security Management:
Implement basic network security measures, such as firewalls and VPNs.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions.Collaboration:
Work with other IT teams and senior engineers to support overall system functionality and integration. Common tools/Technologies: Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel routers and switches Firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint) Network Monitoring Tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) * VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL)
