JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Provide support for new applications and upgrades to existing systems.
• Provide basic logistics support for faulty equipment
• To secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
• Plan network layouts and configure systems to user environment.
• Ensure current configurations are documented clearly and accurately.
• Carry out incident management and escalate incidents to team or vendors
• Perform hardening of network environment
• Perform end user administration (Firewalls, Switches, Routers, IPS/IDS)
• Deliver network protection updates
• Carry out ad-hoc administration task on network equipment
• To provide support to end users/customers during installation
• To provide troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation
• To undertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centres
• To work with Management closely in undertaking duties required for projects.
• To establish the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree
• Atleast 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Specializing in Engineering – Building Construction/Civil/Structural or equivalent would be an advantage
• 2A/2B/Class 3 compulsory. Preferably poses own transport. (Required to travel from time to time)
• Willing to do rotating shift work and able to work longer hours. Must work on weekends/PH. (Strictly off on week days)
• Field work required. Need to do delivery if driver is off / medical leave or urgencyof goods when required
• Will be placed on standby duties, to meet customers’ requirements, overtime will be required when the need arise.
• Knowledge in Hydraulic machines would be an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand schematic drawings
• Ability to utilise, debug and modify existing PLC programs is an added advantage
• Strong sense of responsibility, focus on customer satisfaction and be a team player
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills across cultures and nationalities
• Good trouble shooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
