Job Description
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for day to day operations and administration on network infrastructure.
- Perform onsite installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment and network operating system in remote sites.
- Responsible in troubleshooting and/or debugging network related problems. Good knowledge troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution and/or resolution recommendation activities to second-level teams.
- Setup and configure complex switching environments base on approved designs
- Design, setup and configure complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications.
- Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with senior network engineers on network optimization.
- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
- Travel to different outlets in Singapore for onsite meetings with contractors colleagues..
Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT equivalent or related fields
Job Requirements Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP and other relevant IT industry certificates. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. Operational experience in managing/maintaining Enterprise network environments within a managed service environment. Understanding of various networking equipment products (Cisco, F5 preferably) Must be customer-focused with good problem solving skills. Willingness and ability to teach and train others. Experience in Cisco syntax, AWS and GCP networking will be preferred. Team player
