Additionally, they may serve as project lead for awarded projects. Provide network infrastructure engineering and support in the environment of a security operations center. Design and produce Low-Level Design documents and solution implementation based on acquired requirements. Ensuring that projects are implemented on time. Network infrastructure installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning. Perform network hardening and keep documentation of baseline configuration settings. Maintain proper control over incident, patch, and change management in compliance with operations requirements. Identify and analyze potential concerns, such as architectures, firewalls, data flow, and network access. Assist with compliance and auditing efforts for policy, standard, and procedure enforcement. Customers, telecom partners, and product suppliers, among others, should be consulted for maintenance and disaster recovery actions. Implementation of new network security solutions as well as the creation of new baseline, policies, and procedures. Requirements Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/ITE in Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Knowledge of networking foundations and industry standard IT protocols. Experience in Next-Gen Firewalls, network switches, routers, and load balancers. Basic knowledge of network and systems security issues. Practical knowledge of network security Related responsibilities like hardening, patching, capacity planning, and design will be a plus. Excellent communication skills and a dedicated and motivated work ethic. Able to work independently and in a team. Professional information technology/security certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, and CCNP will be favored, but comparable qualifications (e.g. CCNP, MCSE, CISSP, etc.) will also be seen favorably. Certification in Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Fortinet products and technologies is desired.
