Lead the team to operate and manage the GPON network, inclusive of Nokia, Huawei and ZTE OLTs.

Make an Impact by:

  • Monitor and take remedial action on pro-actively and reactively detected services and network infrastructure faults till closure.
  • Manage the operation issues, escalate chronic/technically complex cases to the Vendors and follow-up till closure.
  • Ensure that technical and managerial escalation and communication to stake holders are done whenever necessary.
  • Documenting all Incidents and events through Incident ticketing system.
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal stake holders, equipment and service providers and partners to ensure swift and efficient resolution of faults.
  • Schedule and execute pre-planned operation activities for new OLTs, network optimization, software upgrade and so on.
  • Impact analysis and process review on scheduled changes / faults / outage on Consumer GPON networks (e.g. fiber cuts, service migration, hardware failure.)
  • Identify areas of improvements to reduce Infrastructure faults and improve monitoring capability.
  • Monitor monthly report on Infrastructure fault rate, trending and provide the best suggestion/solution to reduce such fault/call-in rate.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance like network device hardware and software upgrade
  • Plan and monitor the ZTE C300 to C600 migration progress and ensure no data mismatch and all subscribers/PON port are in good shape after the migration.
  • Up keeping of GPON network infrastructure information and records,
  • Budget EMS/NMS the operation and maintenance activities.

  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter and highly driven with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
  • Goal oriented with good analytical skill, committed to deliver high quality outputs, effectively utilized team member to his/her full potential and motivates the team to work together in the most efficient manner.
