Network Engineer

SUMMARY

\xc2\xb7 Our client is a prominent player in the telecom industry with flourishing networks in the Asia region and beyond. Continuously strengthening its core of providing advanced information services to a vast customer base, the firm seeks to boost its human capital with the addition of a Network Engineer to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• In charge of Operation and Maintenance of Network and Cloud systems, regularly organize and analyze the quality of Network and Cloud Network to ensure efficient operation and fulfil various communication quality indicators.
• Plan future expansion and optimize existing resources for Network and Cloud usage.
• Provide technical support for Network and Cloud maintenance and guide the work of NOC and front-line onsite support.
• Responsible for handling Network and Cloud outages and providing additional technical support for pre-sales solutioning and project implementation stages.
• Participate in the development of contingency plans and ensure the security of critical systems and services.
• Coordinate Network and Cloud equipment commissioning and planned maintenance activity work.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Network, IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with Cloud storage technologies and solutions such as SAN and NAS, experience in Cloud platform and large data center facility is preferred.
• Proficiency in SD-WAN technology is a plus.
• Preferably possess certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, HCIA, HCIP, CDCP, ITIL or relevant Cloud certifications.
• Experience in specific industries such as Telecommunications, healthcare, education, government, etc., is preferred.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin (to liaise and handle queries and feedback from Mandarin speaking associates and customers)
