Job Description

:To maintain and provide support to JP network systems to ensure maximum network service uptime through resolving issues, performing network patching/upgrade and installing new systems.The Job

• Maintain, support and operate Jurong Port enterprise-wide network and security infrastructure.
• Administer network and security equipment including switches and routers, firewalls, wireless controllers/access points, network links etc.
• Provide timely response to network issues/incidents, troubleshooting and implementing resolutions to minimize service disruption.
• Execute network/firewall-related change requests.
• Participate in the implementation/migration and management of cloud-based solution.
• Ensure compliance with policies/procedures.
• Identify operational or technical gaps and propose improvements in operational processes.
• Participate in annual DR exercise and business continuity activities.
• Upkeep network documentation, SOP and work processes.
• Participate in network implementation projects and initiatives.
• Review and renew network maintenance support contracts.
• Provide after office-hours standby support and respond to calls/messaging or systems alerts when required.

Job Requirement

• Degree qualifications in Computer/Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant IT certifications eg. CCNA/CCNP/AWS.
• Possess strong technical background with minimum 5 years\' hands-on experience in administrating various network and security devices not limited to Cisco/Huawei switches/ routers, Checkpoint/Fortigate/Cisco/Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba wireless controller, VPN, NAC etc.
• Possess good knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) with proven experience in designing, implementing and managing IaaS/PaaS deployment in AWS/Azure.
• Familiar with cloud technologies and cloud automation using infrastructure-as-code such as AWS cloudformation and AWS Lambda will be an added advantage.
• Experience in integrating AI/ML with network operations will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work out-field and provide after office hour remote standby support, including weekend and public holidays.
