Job Description
Duration: 12 months contract roleVirtual training will be provided for 5 weeks on Networking Fundamentals, TCP/IP and OSI Networking Models, IP Addressing and Subnetting, Data Center Fundamentals Concepts, Firewall Fundamentals, etc.Responsibilities:
- Receive and acknowledge network notifications using network management tools and learn how to interpret common syslog messages.
- Create incident logs following standard protocols and frameworks.
- Troubleshoot common infrastructure and network problems.
- Perform basic activities supporting network upgrades following well-defined instructions and procedures from an action plan.
- Implement and execute standard processes and techniques for detecting, identifying, and isolating network errors.
- Performing routine network backups and basic device health checks and following related procedures and instructions to perform simple and routine tasks.
- Resolve common network faults and failures with relevant network maintenance tools in accordance with standard fault recovery procedures
- Manage network incidents from opening to closure.
Contract length: 12 monthsSalary: $2,800.00 - $3,200.00 per monthSchedule:
- Flexible hours
- Local Polytechnic Diploma (Preferred)
- Network engineering: 1 year (Preferred)
