Responsible

• Experience in Firewall deployment/configuration/maintenance.
• Ability to understand customers’ networking and security requirements.
• Proficient in planning and proposing costing models and SLA for managed services proposal
• Provide in-depth network design and ensure that solutions proposed meet customers’ need.
• Supporting and provide quality presales technical consultation and develop cost effective, resilient, innovative, and reliable Network solutions.
• Keeps abreast of technological advancement in the industry in Infrastructure security.
• Good understanding and exposure to Network Security.
• Understand latest network/security threats & issues & their mitigating solutions.
• Responsible for hands on and in-charge of installation, configuration and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, WLAN controllers and APs, and other telecommunications devices.
• Responsible for onsite support of configuration of the switches and routers with automation scripts
• Responsible for leading the planning and implementation of project onsite which include installation, racking, cabling, configuration, commission etc
• Responsible for preparing all the necessary document in advance which include configuration scripts, label table, cable connection table, service migration plan, etc
• Responsible for troubleshooting switches configuration issues or other connectivity issues to make sure protocol neighbour is up to normal
• Responsible for supervising the logistic during switches or routers unboxing, installations, racking, etc and make sure no damages happened
• Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly onsite report on project or customer level when it is required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or IT, or with at least 3-5 years of relevant. working experience in IT Network industry and involved in Pre-sales or Post-sales of medium to large/complex Infrastructure.
• CCNA and CCNP certification is required.
• Familiar and conversant in Routing, Switching, Wireless, MPLS, DHCP, DNS, NAC, Proxy, Syslog, Firewall, SSL VPN, Network Management and Structured Cabling.
• Ability to perform independently and interface with customers, partners
• Good fundamentals in the understanding of the inter-dependencies of the services (application, system & network).
