In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network systems and services. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our clients networks, with a focus on optimizing network performance and resolving technical challenges. • Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy network solutions that meet client requirements, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Network Management & Optimization: Monitor and manage network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize network infrastructure.
• Device Configuration & Maintenance: Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices, ensuring they are up to date with security patches and software updates.
• Security Management: Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures to safeguard sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues quickly and efficiently, providing technical support for internal and external teams as needed.
• Network Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, topologies, and changes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, project managers, and support engineers, to ensure seamless integration of network systems into broader IT infrastructure.
• Project Management: Assist in the planning and execution of network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and the deployment of new technologies.
• Client Interaction: Interface with clients to understand their networking needs, provide technical recommendations, and ensure the smooth delivery of network services.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 24 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
• Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.) and network monitoring tools.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, network automation, and cloud networking is a plus.
• CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve network issues.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with the latest developments in the telecommunications field.
