The Role We are looking for a technically capable and dynamic Information Technology (IT), Network person to be part of the Kacific Information technology team. You will be responsible and accountable for the Engineering and Operation of Kacific network systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. You may need to do network design, and supervise key implementation and maintenance of our company's IT needs. The successful candidate should have highly driven, excellent technical skills, proven professional experience and detailed knowledge of the industry's best practice processes. Job Responsibilities: Manage and lead the engineering team responsible for the deployment, configuration, and management of all edge network infrastructure. Involved in recruitment, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance Design, develop, implement, and coordinate network, systems, policies, and procedures to provide high SLA Risk assessment of the network, systems, and mitigation plan to ensure continuity of service/business Provide support in terms of design, operating and monitoring of the customer data network infrastructure Support and maintain IT operations for network infrastructure end to end. To provide reactive high-touch support for any incident in the customer network to resolve the issue in a timely manner and provide a Root Cause Analysis Report. Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in a technical field. Minimum 8 years for Degree and 10 years for Diploma of experience working in managing network infrastructures and 3+ years of direct people management experience Experience working in a Data Center or Internet Service Provider, network design and architecture Experience in implementing projects that includes campus network, DC network and wireless network Network-related Professional Certification (eg. CCNP, CCIE, etc) will be an advantage Strong understanding of configuring and troubleshooting IP routing/switching technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP, and VRRP in a dual-stack IPv4/6 environment.
