We are looking for an intern to support the Deputy General Manager in Agency Management, Terminal Procurement, and R&D operations. The ideal candidate will overseeing assigned shipping lines, continuously monitoring and evaluating the existing network, and working closely with Line Management to drive service improvements and strategic enhancements.Performing market research, collect market information & trends with analysis to support decision making. Perform/Compare profit and loss analysis to support network changes or new products. This involves the creation of proforma schedules, product costings, and contribution analysis on volume and revenue projections. Prepare presentations and supporting documents for management approvals on network changes and new products. Use BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to gather, visualize, and interpret data. Automate performance reporting and dashboard creation for easy access to critical trade performance data. Work with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, to align trade performance goals. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to communicate service network and product updates. Provide actionable recommendations based on trade performance data to management and relevant teams. Maintain internal vessel fleet movement and cascading plan. Maintain competitor's profile. Participate in organising social events/activities for the team/organization Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by direct superior.

Job Requirement

Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge

Outstanding communication skills, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating in both English and Mandarin, as the role involves regular interaction with English- and Chinese-speaking colleagues, both in writing and verbally, whenever needed. Resilient, self-motivated, result-driven, highly adaptable, and able to work independently. Outstanding communication skills, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Advance working knowledge in Excel required, with experience in Formatting, Pivot Tables, Power BI, SQL Database, Formulas, Filters and Sorting etc. Able to travel to all the countries in the region if required Possesses a valid right to work in Singapore.
