ANOTECH is the subsidiary of the Group delivering ALTEN's Engineering Services in Singapore.

As a Network Security Engineer, you will provide L1 or L1.5support for security alerts, support incident investigations, and work closely with the team to protect enterprise network environments.

Responsibilities:

Network & Infrastructure Support

Monitor network and infrastructure systems (servers, firewalls, endpoints) for availability, performance, and security alerts

Perform first-level troubleshooting for network, server, and connectivity issues

Escalate incidents to Level 2 / Level 3 engineers with proper documentation and analysis

Security Operations (L1 / L1.5)

Monitor security alerts from firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, and network tools

Perform initial investigation of security incidents, anomalies, or suspicious activities

Assist in applying security patches, updates, and configuration changes

Support vulnerability scanning and basic remediation activities

System Administration Support

Assist with user access management (AD, VPN, network access)

Support backups, monitoring, and routine maintenance tasks

Maintain accurate system and incident documentation

Process & Continuous Improvement

Follow ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change processes

Contribute to knowledge base articles and SOPs

Learn and adopt security best practices and new technologies

Requirements:

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, network operations, or infrastructure roles

Willingness to work in a shift-based or on-call environment

Fundamental knowledge of:

TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs

?

Firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation

?

Windows/Linux operating systems

?

Active Directory

?

Cloud fundamentals (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Familiarity with IT security concepts such as:

Malware, phishing, endpoint security

?

Access control and authentication

Exposure to security or network tools such as:

?

Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco)

?

Endpoint security tools

?

SIEM or monitoring platforms

Basic experience with log analysis or packet analysis (e.g. Wireshark)

Familiarity with automation scripts or security playbooks

Good to have active certifications in the following:

? CompTIA Network+ / Security+

? CCNA or any Cisco related certifications

? Microsoft or cloud fundamentals

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $6,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
