Configure & trouble-shoot LAN and WAN network topology, Window OS, Window Servers, Linux, CISCO equipment (hubs, routers, switches, controllers, wifi access point), CCTV or related networking equipment
Configure security settings or access permissions on network equipment for groups or individuals
Evaluate LAN & WAN performance, to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes
Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment
Analyze network data to determine network usage, routine equipment maintenance, disk space availability, or server function
Source and procurement of network related equipment, make justification on your choice of selection
Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage to change priorities
Diploma or degree in computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education
Requirements
You should have at least 5 - 7 years of experience in networking installation, trouble-shooting & configuration related experiences, preferably within education services domain
This position requires to be very efficient and very hands-on technologies skills personnel in order to be successful in the job
Provide application training and support end-users requirements including helpdesk
Strong project management skills with effective results focus
Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills within an information systems environment
Experience in the developing documentation, policies, implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes and supporting users in UAT
