Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing Critical internal infrastructure which involves Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load-balancers, servers, virtualization, security tools
• Responsible for incident management, change management, vulnerability management, security management of the infra
• Provide support in handling complex issues related to network delivery, identify the root cause, and implement permanent solutions within the project cycle.
• Able to troubleshoot and deploy solutions to various equipment such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls,
• Responsible for Change Request review and impact analysis for Network changes
• Support the expansion, upgrades and roll-outs of new network infrastructure involving hardware such as routers and switches, associated software, network monitoring and management systems within the scope of work.
• Design and implement network projects
• Planning future improvement and suggesting solutions to reduce network faults
• Prepare statistical reports on network and equipment performance.
• Service level improvement on Network through design change, monitoring improvement and capacity management
• Liaise and coordinate with various vendors and internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and provide project updates
• Provide training to First & Second level Network engineers

The Ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree in Computer / Electronics Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.
• With a minimum of 5 years' experience in operation support or delivery role.
• Candidates with minimum CCNP level certification or its equivalent
• Strong understanding of enterprise network solutions and technologies
• Good understanding of IP network protocols like OSPF, BGP, QoS, IPSEC, VLAN, STP, DMVPN.
• Experience in managing firewalls/IPS/IDS/Proxy/Vmware, F5, Monitoring tools is a plus
• Experience in managing servers such as windows and linux is a plus
• Possess good analytical and trouble-shooting skills in technical fault isolation and rectification.
• Possess good attitude, good project management and communication skills.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team player.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction, high initiative levels, team player
