Join as a System Support Engineer for the Seamless Identity Management Platform for Experience (SIMPLE) system, a high-availability mission-critical infrastructure powering operations. Be part of a dedicated team of engineers ensuring system reliability, performance, and security.
You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Network, Switches, Routers, hardware and software systems and ensure that all operations meet a 99.9% SLA standard. This role offers hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies and paves the way for future progression into Senior Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist, or Technical Lead roles.
Key Responsibilities
Corrective Maintenance (CM): Troubleshoot and restore SIMPLE system components (hardware/software) in case of failure. Maintain logs and analyze MTBF, MTTR, and system reliability metrics.
Preventive Maintenance (PM): Perform scheduled maintenance on hardware. Calibrate, service, and verify configurations using approved checklists.
Field Testing: Conduct software testing and configuration validation before system deployment or after patch updates.
Spares Management: Manage, inspect, and track spare parts and test equipment. Liaise on EOL/EOS monitoring and calibration with vendors.
Service Documentation: Submit timely PM/CM reports and maintain accurate records of system uptime, configurations, software versions, and hardware issues.
Collaboration & Ad-hoc Duties: Work closely with vendors, engineers, and project teams on incident resolution and any additional responsibilities assigned.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
1-2 years of experience supporting network, server, security systems (Firewall, PAM/PIM), and UPS infrastructure.
Proven experience maintaining mission-critical systems with a 99.9% SLA.
Familiarity with ITSM standards and practices is highly desirable.
Technical Skills
Understanding of system architecture and user operation environments.
Knowledge of server virtualization and security tools is an advantage.
Ability to read technical diagrams and perform system-level analysis.
