Why this role?
Lead the development and execution of sales and manage offering within the Southeast Asia (SEA) New Equipment Business. In full alignment with Area and Global NEB Strategy, develop and implement SEA New Equipment Business strategy and country specific action plans to achieve short and long term business goals. Execute business development initiatives and improve customer-centricity, competitive position, market share and profitability in the frontline. Work closely with the Area Operations and Global/Area NEB team to ensure profitable growth.
What will you be doing?
Safety and Quality
Proactively drive outstanding performance in Safety and Quality in the new equipment business
Customers, Business Development and Performance
Drive and promote customer-centric culture and outside-in thinking in the business by having an in-depth understanding of customer and market needs. Promote early involvement with the customer in selling process and consultative selling approach.
Promote utilization of voice of customer throughout the business
Strategize and co-drive NEB business (grow in sales, market share and profitability) and offering development, including go-to-market actions for new services and solutions in collaboration with other NEB business stakeholders
Holistic understanding, accountability and development of whole NEB business competitiveness, growth and profitability
Collaborate with Area and Global colleagues for best practice sharing
Ensure compliance with business operating model and effective deployment of KONE Way initiatives. Monitors compliance and acts upon gaps or development needs. Provides constructive feedback back to the global team.
Evaluate the results of NEB business activities/contracts and identify recurring problems
Set SEA level targets together with NEB stakeholders, continuously monitor financial performance and report results.
Drive short and long-term competitiveness based on global NEB strategy
Leadership / People management
Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to develop and implement a strategy for NEB business that is aligned with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives
Lead, evaluate, and develop the NEB business team and its professionals at FL.
Identify competence gaps and training needs in order to fulfil the business plan
Are you the one?
Bachelor / master\'s degree in engineering or related discipline
At least 15 years of sales management experience in elevator or related industries with a positively driven and customer focused mindset.
Good at presenting and influencing stakeholders. Able to translate complex challenges to concise and easy to understand messages to stakeholders (internal & stakeholder).
Conceptual thinking and problem-solving mindset. Able to identify opportunities base on countries feedback, insights, market trend, etc.
Understanding of profit and loss.
