Position: Equipment Senior Engineer (Permanent Night Shift) Responsibilities: Operational support and efficiency . Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshoot equipment-related problems to minimize equipment downtime . Resolving equipment issues and implement corrective and preventive actions . Maximize uptime of equipment to sustain equipment performance . Execute new equipment start-up to support production, from facilities hook-up, vendor start-up, to acceptance of equipment for production . Coordinate with process, integration and manufacturing engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet module objectives. . Provide leadership in giving direction and systematic guidance to Equipment Engineer / Associate Engineer. Record and reports . Review, validate and analyze reports . Ensure staff's on-time submission of checklist within shift . Review documentation on all shift related events and activities Documentation and SOPs . Establish and implement all Equipment specification, troubleshooting procedures, safety related documents and ensure compliance with corporate requirements and procedures . Documentation of Corrective Action and Best-Known Methods for equipment to allow more efficient troubleshooting Cost Efficiency . Liaise with equipment vendors and spare parts suppliers continuously to develop new methods to achieve low cost maintenance system . To initiate and carry out yield improvement, cost reduction, 2nd source verification and cycle time reduction projects Equipment Improvement . Monitor and control equipment performance indices . Maintain optimum utilization of equipment and resources and constantly review methods of OEE management to reduce tool downtime and increase equipment throughput . Drive the team of Technicians to participate in all continuous improvement projects . Develop and implement an improvement program of preventive maintenance task of machines Training and Development . Train/mentor Technicians and Engineers through OJT and continually upgrade their technical skills to cope with technological changes Quality . Participate in QIT programs to optimize equipment utilization and cost of maintenance . Analyze trend, propose areas of quality improvement Coordinate evaluation and implementation with relevant parties Educational Qualifications: Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience Broad spectrum exposure to different tool types Excellent understanding of operations within the company and skilled in supplier management Team player with logical thinking and problem solving skills as well as a passion for learning Proven track record of problem solving and process improvement in a semiconductor manufacturing context Knowledge in SPC, FMEA, 8D Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn Independent worker Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
