Opportunity to work in renown American MNC within the Automation Industry
Part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team(s) that are responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of manufacturing plans within the organisation.
Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm.
The Objective
Supports the introduction of new products (NPI) to the manufacturing facility in accordance with the Common Product Development (CPD) processes
Works with Industrialization Process Engineers to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability.
Assists with the development and implementation of the manufacturing layout and processes and the associated documentation, and with the execution of prototype and pilot activities.
Provide support to Industrialization Process Engineers on NPI/Continuation Engineering projects
Support EA SMT and back end processes, including manufacturing test
Assists in programming Universal SMT equipment to ensure efficient processing of prototypes is a MUST
Set up and calibrate EA processes for prototype builds, such as SPI, SMT, Reflow, Wave soldering, Routing, etc
Create manufacturing deliverables for printed circuit board assembly prototypes and pilots
Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture of electronic assemblies.
Able to resolve issues using analytical method to improve manufacturing yield and efficiency
Handle multiple projects and priorities in a teamwork environment and perform job functions in a timely manner
Streamline manufacturing processes, procedures, work instructions to improve first pass yield, eliminate rework and scrap
Interface with vendors, production, test and quality teams to resolve engineering issues
Requirements
Diploma/ITE in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields
Minimum 3 years of experienced in Electronic Manufacturing Assembly
Good understanding of printed circuit board design, SMT line, test equipment and machinery setup
Familiarity with IPC standards and pcb design guidelines
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience using CAMCAD tools
Ability to work in teams or independently, action-oriented and possess strong drive for results
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
