We are seeking a skilled

NPI / Product & Process Engineer

to join our high-precision manufacturing team. This role will be heavily involved in

rubber molding operations

,

new product introduction

, and

process improvement initiatives

to ensure production efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee new product launches and pilot runs, ensuring a smooth transition to full-scale manufacturing. Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and supply chain teams for seamless product development and deployment. Lead process validation, testing, and continuous improvement projects. Conduct feasibility studies and "what-if" analysis for new product introductions. Design and refine products for manufacturability, performance, and compliance. Develop and maintain production process documentation, workflows, and SOPs. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff.

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years' manufacturing engineering experience (including NPI or product/process improvement) and proven expertise in rubber molding operations. Strong knowledge of

New Product Development/Introduction (NPD/NPI)

,

Design for Manufacturability (DFM)

, and

FMEA

(Design & Process). Skilled in

process optimisation

,

Lean Manufacturing

, and

Six Sigma

methodologies. Familiar with

ISO standards

(e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949) and experienced in

feasibility studies

, cost-benefit analysis, and risk management. Excellent troubleshooting, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
