Job Description
The Nurse Assistant will be responsible for assisting residents or clients in the aspects of Hygiene, Healthcare, Housekeeping and Exercises within Peacehaven Nursing Home.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and assist the Nursing staff in providing the residents with basic hygiene and personal care on a daily basis
- Escort the residents to and form hospital/clinic visits whenever necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of resident’s environment e.g. tidiness of patient’s beds, lockers and laundry/linens
- Assist in serving of meals / drinks and in the feeding of the residents
- Assist in recreational and social programmes for residents involved
- Report and changes in behaviour or general conditions. Make general observations of residents' physical condition and report any changes or deterioration to the attending nurses.
Working Hours
- 44 working hours per week (1 days off per week according to roster)
- Shift duty according to nursing roster

Job Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 6 months relevant working experience in hospital or nursing home
- Able to read, speak and write in English
- Able to write essay required for nursing documentation
- Any specific requirements specified by Ministry of Health from time to time
- Dynamic and good team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
