Responsible for the supervision, evaluation and disciplining of all staff 3. Responsible for upholding the policies and values of the organisation and the nursing profession 4. Co-ordinate teamwork in the day-to-day running of the nursing department 5. Assist the DON in evaluating and maintaining a high standard of nursing care through clinical guidance, teaching, support and advice to nursing cum auxiliary staff 6. Orientate all RNs and appraise RN's or SN's clinical assessment before their confirmation 7. Ensure that effective and cooperative working relationships are maintained within the Nursing Department and between internal and external customer groups Job Specification 1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with minimum of 5 years work experience and at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position in healthcare sector 2. Possesses good organisational, management and problem-solving skills 3. Strong team player with good communications and interpersonal skills 4. Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
