JOB DESCRIPTION (JD):

• Performs clinical duties and to assist the Consultant in handling patients.
• Manages day-to-day administration of the clinic/practice.
• Blood taking for patients.
• Ensures safety precautions and guidelines are followed accordingly.
• Identify patient care requirement by establishing personal rapport with patients.
• Accountable for the professional and nursing activities so as to ensure high standards of care are constantly maintained as per established SOPs.
• Provides utmost patient care and customer service to the patients and his or her family members.
• Participates and assist in other duties that can benefit the overall performance of the Centre - for example, talks and workshops arranged by the Centre for the patients and potential patients.
• Plans and implements the overall nursing policies, procedures, and services for a unit.
• Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training clinical staff.
• Ensures that nurses are in competencies, assessments, and training.
• May provide direct patient care and is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating patients.
• Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
• Ensures that project/goals are met.
• Head the nursing team, deputies for the CM in her absence, train other nurses, ensure standards of nursing team, patient care, patient experience.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Centre Manager and/or the Senior Management.

JOB SPECIFICATION (JS):

• Possess Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.
• Post-Basic Diploma is necessary for specific functions within the Centre.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in handling patients in English and Mandarin.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others.

\xc2\xb7 Able to exercise discretion in handling confidential matters.

\xc2\xb7 Display professional attitude towards colleagues and others.

\xc2\xb7 PC Literate. (Microsoft Office applications, email, internet, etc.)
