Job Description
Qualification :
- Should have Sec 3 to \xe2\x80\x98N\xe2\x80\x99 levels preferably with certificate in Health Care Assisting or Caregiver Training
Experience :
- Preferably with 1-2 years working experience in a similar setting.
Special Aptitude :
- Caring and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Able to read and write in English.
- Knowledge of dialects is an advantage.
Job Summary : Provide care services to the clients attending the Day Care Centre and Day Rehab Centre (Locations at Jurong East and Marine Parade). This involves and includes the maintenance of a clean, orderly and safe environment for the clients and assisting the clients in personal care and activities of daily living.
Duties and Responsibilities : 1.1 Render assistance and supervision of the clients, ensuring client comfort and safety, according to the standards set by the Centre
- Receive clients at the drop off point and assist them to the centre
- Help the clients settle down after arrival
- See to dietary needs \xe2\x80\x93 serving of meals and feeding if needed
- Supervise and assist the clients in the various activities
- Conduct group programmes and activities for the clients under the supervision of the therapists
- Accompany clients to the washroom / toilet / change diaper if needed
- Encourage clients and assist them to settle down for a nap after lunch
