Nursing Aide
Job Description
Bath clients daily with HCA and HA
Ensure all nursing equipment is clean and in working condition
Attend to clients\' elimination needs promptly
Prepare clients for meals, especially those using wheelchairs or walking aids
Prepare and serve meals at appointed times, paying attention to those on a special diet, if any
Observe and monitor the health status of clients. Report to the Nurse in charge if any adverse change is noticed
Assist clients in exercise activities, recreational and social programmes
Help to collect, fold, and sort laundry. Prepare client\'s clothing and place them in linen carriers
Any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer, Director of Nursing, or Staff Nurse Should have some basic training in nursing, and preferably have experience in caring for people with disabilities. A cheerful personality and good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are important. It is essential that the jobholder must have the conscientiousness to take good care of people with disabilities entrusted to the care.
