About the Role

• Carry out duties and procedures as assigned by the Registered Nurse (Staff Nurse, Senior Staff Nurse, Nurse Manager)

• Assist and supervise hygiene practices, oral toileting, bathing, and grooming of residents.

• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents, while attending to their complaints professionally

• Identify individual resident needs and report any needs or problems to the Registered Nurse

• Assist with serving of meals and assist with feeding when required.

• Maintain and supervise the fluid and nutritional needs of residents.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care given daily.

• Assist the Registered Nurse with nursing procedures and treatments, in times of incident.

• Assist with admission and orientation of new residents.

• Perform routine cleaning of the dispensary and equipment.

• Assist in transferring residents who may have problems with mobility using appropriate transfer and lifting techniques.

• Provide general observation support to nursing staff, to inform them about any patient anomalies such as overall outlook, skin condition and discrepancies in behaviour.

• Carry out any adhoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We Are Looking For\xef\xbb\xbf

• Candidate must possess a certificate/diploma in Health Sciences or related background.
• Ability to work in team or independently.
• Ability to communicate well and able to articulate procedures effectively.
• Meticulous, flexible and ability to multitask.
• 3 years related experiences preferred.
• Compassionate and good patient care.
