Job Description
The Services required are set out as follows:
- Prepare ingredients trays for NFS practical lessons/practical exam
- Maintain cleanliness of two NFS kitchen (sweep, mop, help clean cooker, table and sink that are not properly cleaned by students and clear waste bin)
- Assist with food, kitchen equipment and cleaning materials/ equipment order
- Keep track of ingredients stock and expiry date
- Clean refrigerator once in June and October
- Wash and fold kitchen towels and apron (washing machine and dryer available)
- Contact OM to report defects in kitchen 1 and 2
- Maintain cleanliness of Staff Lounge 2 (sweep, mop, clean table and sink, top-up washing detergent and clear waste bin)
- To perform any other duties assigned by the Principal, Vice-Principal, Operations Manager (OM) or Administration Manager (AM)
- Candidate who are able to communicate in simple English and ability to cook is preferred.
- From 3 June -25 June 2024, and 1 Nov to 27 Dec 2024
- From 3 June -25 June 2025 and 1 Nov to 27 Dec 2025
Contract Period:
From 28 Dec 2023 to 27 Dec 2024
with an Option to renew for 1 year from 28 Dec 2024 to 27 Dec 2025
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of one(1) hour lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
a. Preferably with at least secondary education
b. Preferably one year of experience as FCE Kitchen Assistant in a secondary sch
Salary:
$2000 to $2300
