Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations to assess the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of residents. Develop and implement tailored therapy programs to improve residents' functional abilities and overall well-being. Continuously evaluate and document progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed. Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on therapeutic techniques and approaches. Maintain accurate documentation in line with organizational policies and standards. Actively participate in departmental meetings to contribute to service delivery improvements. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care. Engage in orientation and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills within the team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution. At least 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, ideally in geriatrics or long-term care. Able to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
